《外貿英語函電(附光盤精編版21世紀國際經濟與貿易專業系列教材普通高等教育十一五國家級規劃教材)》(作者蘭天)的編寫是在第六版的基礎上做出的。為了一些大、中專學校教學安排的需要，出于對部分讀者學習時間有限的考慮，我把精編版做成了12章。其中涵蓋了全部國際貿易業務流程的重要環節，包括建立業務關系、詢盤、報盤、還盤、達成交易、支付條件、開立及審核信用證、運輸與包裝、保險、投訴及索賠和代理等的書信樣信。每封樣信后面的注釋內容都豐富、全面，采用了詞匯辨析及一詞多譯法介紹常用的商業英語詞匯。為了提高讀者的實際工作應用能力和寫作水平，每章后面都特別設計了情景寫作練習，根據給定的主題寫書信。本書還配套發行了光盤，其中有授課課件，以供講課教師的參考之用。光盤中收納了其他商務和生活場景的書信寫作及求職面試等培訓資料，在光盤中讀者還能找到與各章學習內容相對應的綜合練習題及參考答案。
